Top Runner Program

The Top Runner Program is prescribed under the law“Law concerning the Rational Use of Energy(Energy Conservation Law)-Section 6: Measures Related to Machinery and Equipment”. In this program, target standard values and target fiscal year of energy consumption efficiency for targeted machinery and equipment are setted.
For industry’ s electrical machinery, three phase motors are included in this top runner program.And target standard values & target fiscal year of three phase machinery is formulated as follows.

IE3 equivalent under
「JIS C 4034-30 ： 2011 efficiency class for single-speed three phase motor (IE code)」

Top Runner Program

Target standard values is IE3. But the actual standard values is lower than IE3 in 200V 60Hz (400V 60Hz)
